Dreamer - Short PoemI am a dreamer. I do not belong in this realm.
I need to live in the world locked in my thoughts.
All my images vividly portray an alias I yearn to become.
But the key has gone missing and I am stuck in this reality.

Signing the contract upon my birth.
I neglected to browse through the agreement.
Now my mortal coil is bound to the terms of humanity.
Confined to play the leading role of this tragedy.

I need to be released from the shackles binding me to this stage.
To seek refuge in the masterpiece of my imagination, my inception.
Become the doppelganger I created, anticipating my arrival.
So I can be a dreamer. Be where I belong.

This was taken in our hotel room at the Westin. It was our final day in San Diego for Comic Con. I had a blast at this year's Comic Con, especially since I cosplayed as Commander Shepard every day I attended. I love this city and our view from the hotel was spectacular.

Goodbye San Diego, until next year...
