WOW! A DD! My first one ever! Thank you to everyone who faved it and commented! I'll be able to answer some questions later (since I am currently on a bus to E3). But here are some I can answer: It no longer shoots. I am however working on turning a Nerf into a working Mantis sniper rifle As for the size, I didn't have any exact dimensions to work with. So I studied how it compared to femShep's body and also adjusted it to better fit the Nerf's size. The reason I did not add the grip at the top is two thngs - because I ran out of time and because it would be another part to worry about when transporting. It needs to survive numerous rough baggage handlers as well as fit in my current duffel bag. I did not weather it because with all the wear and tear I'll be giving it, it'll weather on its own. The same happened with my previous modification. Again, thanks everyone! I put easily over 350 hours into it and it warms my heart to see this. ^_^
After almost two months since I started, roughly sixteen days worth of work, weighing nearly ten fucking pounds, and possibly giving me the first of my grey hairs... the M-920 Cain can finally be deemed as done! What was once a Nerf Recon has turned into one of the deadliest heavy weapons in the Mass Effect universe. I'm really happy with how well it turned out. Now to celebrate!
