Commander Shepard Cosplay WIP1

I'm cosplaying as Commander Shepard for this year's International Comic Con in San Diego(as well as a few others like the midnight release of ME3). I will be dressed in her casual uniform, the one worn when she is on the Normandy.

Even though Shepard does not carry a gun around on the Normandy, I will be. With all the enemies she has, I would have a weapon at all times. I didn't want to do one that is seen in Mass Effect, I wanted my own design to be proud of. So I took a bunch of reference photos and began working away. Shortly after starting, I received the Game Informer magazine with the article on ME3. They mentioned completely customizable weapons so now my gun will fit right in!

1 - Stock Nerf gun: The Recon C5-6.
2 - The Nerf gun stripped apart so all that is left is the base.
3 - Beginning with the modeling clay.
4 - Modeling clay set and ready for paint.
